Laser cutter frequently asked questions
Can I use your laser cutter?
If you have been trained to use our laser cutter, then yes! The cutter can be used by members and non-members of the lab, at different hourly rates. Training can be provided if you're going to be using the cutter a lot, or we can help you run one-off jobs.
What materials can be cut?
The cutter has successfully cut:
- Acrylic (up to 6mm thick)
- Plywood (up to 6mm thick)
- MDF (up to 6mm thick)
- Card
- Paper
