|+||A project is underway to build access-controlled printer enclosures for the 3D printers in the lab.|
|+||This will allow printing of more fume heavy materials (ABS, we're looking at you), as well as provide general ventilation for PLA/PETG which itself has questionable health "benefits". Another benefit is we can move the fan above the printers back behind the server rack and hopefully stop G11 being as toasty. While we are at it (because we already have some nice shiny access control firmware, and the doors need to lock to stop fumes getting out) we decided to just go ahead and implement the printer enclosures as a form of tool locker!|
