Should work. Harry upgraded the cabling last I knew. I am not sure if
it is plugged into the computer though since move. 
Its got about 0.1mm tolerance, and doesn't work over its entire
workspace. Its not really possible to improve, due to prismatic joints
seizing if you try and reduce the backlash further (many have tried).
