Makita 18V Cordless System
There is some support for the lab to start purchasing good quality cordless tools. Makita seems the most popular option, with a single system being desirable for sharing of batteries. These purchases will be postponed until we have suitable secure storage.

Drills:
- RMJ suffix = with battery
- Z suffix = tool body only
- DDF = drill drivers (no hammer mode)

- DHP484 (intermediate model) replaces DHP480
- DHP485 (intermediate model) replaces DHP459
- DHP484 is slightly heavier and stronger than DHP485, but not by much

The vinyl flooring in G1 is rapidly deteriorating. Literally anything would be an improvement.

G14 Setup
Access Control:
- Power supply: Elmdene G13801N or G13802N (see Ebay section at top of page)
- Battery: NP7-12
- Replacement lock and electric lock strike
- This lock appears to be similar to G1. We used a mortice nightlatch and Asec IGES T10 Ansi GK310 electric strike release.
- The G2/G8 lock type might also work. Yale ES3100.

- UniFi AC Lite access point (or maybe upgrade G1 to a UniFi AC Pro instead)
